Hi, I’m Daniel O’Grady — Australian physiotherapist, long-time runner, deep-dive researcher, and someone who’s personally dealt with the frustration of persistent jaw pain.
The SIMPLE TMJ Approach™ was born out of years of working with people who felt like they’d tried everything — splints, scans, stretches, massages — and still had pain. I kept seeing the same pattern: the treatments were often complicated, rigid, or just didn’t fit the person’s unique physiology and stress response.
So I flipped the model.
Instead of treating the jaw like a broken part, I started treating the whole system — especially the nervous system, muscles, lifestyle rhythms, and stress load.
This approach is grounded in real science (including the latest research on pain as a homeostatic imbalance) — but delivered in a way that actually makes sense to real people. No jargon. No pressure. Just a clear, empowering way forward.
